Dr. Michael Rappa is the founding director of NC State's Institute for Advanced Analytics and its Master of Science in Analytics (MSA)—the nation’s first full-fledged graduate degree program aimed at producing budding data scientists. He will address the unique combination of skills and characteristics that make data scientists some of the most sought-after professionals in data-driven organizations across diverse industries, in pre- and post-COVID times.
